Customizing the Link

Overview

A published form’s link accepts query parameters, so one form can serve many contexts — each page, email, or QR code can carry its own variant of the link. No extra configuration is needed; the parameters work on every published form.

Prefill fields

Any parameter that isn’t reserved is matched against the form’s field names and captions, and prefills that field:

https://forms.hubstream.one/embed/<uuid>?status=Open&assignedto=Jane
  • Matching is case-insensitive and ignores spaces and punctuation — assignedto matches a field captioned “Assigned To”.
  • Dropdowns match against the option label or ID; a value that matches no option is skipped.
  • Multi-selects take comma-separated values (?tags=Red,Blue); checkboxes take true/false.
  • The person filling out the form can still edit prefilled values before submitting.

Prefill is a convenience, not a lock — treat it as a head start for the person filling out the form, not as trusted data.

Add ?logo=0 to hide the Hubstream logo — useful when the form is embedded in a page that already carries branding:

https://forms.hubstream.one/embed/<uuid>?logo=0

(false, hide, hidden, and no also work.)

Combining parameters

Chain parameters with &, as in any URL:
