Overview
HubstreamFORMS turns any Hubstream form into a public web form. You share a link (or drop the form into any website with an iframe), someone fills it out — no account, no login — and their submission lands in your Hubstream instance as a record, ready for triage.
Typical uses:
- A complaint or tip line on your public website.
- An intake form sent by email or printed as a QR code.
- A partner-facing referral form embedded in another organization’s portal.
How it fits together
- You build the form in Hubstream — the same forms you already manage in the admin area. See Form Management.
- You publish it by registering the form with HubstreamFORMS, which gives it an unguessable public link like
https://forms.hubstream.one/embed/9f2c1e4a-…. See Publish a Form. - People fill it out at that link, or inside any page that embeds it. They never see your Hubstream server, and no credentials are ever exposed. See Filling Out a Form.
- Submissions become records in your instance. A form built on multiple entities (a composite form) creates a record per entity and links them together automatically.
Every submission passes a layered security check — CAPTCHA, an invisible bot trap, and rate limits — before anything reaches your instance. See How Submissions Are Protected.
What forms can do
- Any form you can build in Hubstream — simple single-entity forms or composite forms spanning several entities.
- Image and PDF uploads — fields that accept photos and documents from the person submitting. See Image and PDF Uploads.
- Prefilled fields and display options via link parameters — for example, a link from your “Region North” page that arrives with the Region field already set. See Customizing the Link.
- Instant publish and retire — forms go live or offline by changing a setting, with no deployment.
